Are you able to find a small block of aluminum you could band saw to the correct thickness. Use a hole saw to get the correct outside diameter and then a regular drill bit to get the inside diameter. Then use a regular drill bit to create the hole in your existing part to receive the new bushing. You could cut a keyway to make sure the new bushing did not spin or come loose. Wedge it tight with a tapered key. Kind of what a machinist would do except not on a lathe.
My cousin is a retired machinist. I have reached out to him to see if he would be interested for a little pocket money to do it. He has a small shop in his garage. I will let you know what he says.
