The VIN is only to verify that your truck is real. They search the data base to determine if its a real VIN or something someone made up. My ‘62 doesn’t have a modern 16+ digit number and they took it without any trouble. They do ask some questions about you that if you don’t want the info made public, you have to go back into your settings and make them private, after your registration is approved.
