** Update on the 261 that the plugs will not fire. ** After being on the phone for about 30 min. with Hotrod Lincoln "Jerry" got me headed in the right direction to get the plugs to fire. Long story short somehow the dist. had lost it's ground. Per jerry I ran jumper from the dist. to engine head & the engine fired right-off. "So Simple But So Far Away" Lesson learned. Maybe this may help someone else.
