Ok, here's some good info if anyone is ever doing this in the future:

Spare trans has the rubber seal

The first rings are not the same

And the ends of the input shafts are different

So, looks like I'm using the donor shaft and synchro rings. I will use the keys from the donor too, but in the original gear.
