I believe it will. I was involved recently in converting an open driveline 420 to a torque tube, and all that was needed to go that way was the rear bearing retainer and a different U joint. How long will the new driveshaft be? Some shops don't like to build single shafts that are beyond certain lengths. If yours has a center carrier bearing already, that probably won't be a concern as long as the shaft angles are correct.
