As far as trouble on the side of the road it should not happen till at least 200k with an injection unit, I can live with that.
My nephews T-bucket has a 406 Ford that came with three 2bbl carbs---IMPOSSIBLE to live with. Now has three FiTech 2 bbls that start instantly, idle baby butt smooth, and will ruin a pair of rear tires in short order.
