I responded to you in the other forum. I have been working out of town for the past week.

SM420 and SM465s in my trucks work just as good as any NV4500 I've seen, just no overdrive.

Please see my response in the drivetrain forum as you don't want the AA bellhousing, you want the AA transmission to bellhousing adapter and then make your own pilot bushing, a much better solution to the problem and lots and lots cheaper!

Granted the drivetrain forum degrades into stupid discussions of bellybutton motors and things that are best kept in the greasy spoon, you may have to wade through the dribble.

If you've only stuck around for 15 posts, you will need to stick around a little longer, there is lots of info here, search the archives.

As far as I am concerned, if you have to brag about your experience and can't let your knowledge imparted to others speak for itself, you probably aren't right for the big truck forum anyway, try impressing the guys in the hipo forum if you can get them to stop debating using an SM420 for drag racing purposes and whether or not a 400 small block is the greatest truck engine made and if that using a 400 in a truck was a new idea anyway.
