A two ton will have the gusset plates mounted on the side of the frame rails,some 1-1/2 tons too.But a real two ton has a slightly larger front axle with king pins measuring about an 1-1/16 in diameter,the 1-1/2 ton pins measure just less than 1 inch.The front hubs are different also,I believe a 2 ton has a 6 bolt hub cap.
