Have Allison trans, big pto on it, and an adapter plus hydraulic pump. Two bolts on ears holding the pump on and it should come off, so I thinks!
I can turn pump all around, but won't slip off any shafts or such. I even tried taking the adapter loose, and it does same thing. Soaking in PB Blaster to maybe loosen the shaft. Not sure if shaft stays with pump or the pto? I've been banging on it too hard, starting to look messed up on pump case now. I can see a key in shaft, barely, but no set screws or such that I can tell. The adapter is four "legs" like and open all other parts, but can't move around good to get tools in there. Darn thing's between trans and the frame. I don't want to take off the pto, it has oil lines running to it for lubing off trans and other stuff. Quite complicated rig. Any ideas or tricks? Does shaft stay with pump? Has manufacture tag on it, maybe time for contact with them?
