glad someone other than me likes it. granted, hardly anything works on it, including the 261, but the 20 mile ride til it died was a blast, so i gotta fix it.
i was surprised i lucked out on the window. wrap-around glass front and rear - they sure don't make cool stuff like that anymore.
would've rather found, say, something in better shape, or a wrecker, but for a motorcycle in similar shape in trade, and 40 miles from home, what can i say? if i ever get it back to driveable, it should be the only one of its kind cruising around downtown rockville.
no idea on hughesville, will have to find out. i think i can manage most of the work, but hunting down parts, and finding a shop that knows these motors, no clue locally.
