52Carl Renaissance Man 5 Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,301 Virginia	No resister with 12 volts will damage the points fairly rapidly. Pull the distributor cap pry the points apart. I'll bet that they are not shiny. 1952 5-window - return to "as built" condition \| 1950 3100 with a 235 and a T-5 transmission
