So I figure it's about time to get the restoration of my 46 going--found a good body man, and I'm going to start rebuilding the bed this week. I pressure washed the underside-wow-the difference is unreal. Get this-the transmission has numbers on it! And, I can read them! I can kiss that shirt and pair of shorts goodbye, the grime...wifey wouldn't come near me.
Before the washing, I had to remove the multicolored carpeting and the floorboard, come to find out it is wood. Looks homemade to me, anyone know what's supposed to be there? If it's metal, do any of the suppliers sell it?
Pics are coming, but my next question is going to be how to post pics in the post. I just learned how to e-mail them from the digital I just learned how to use... :rolleyes:
