Once you go holley terminator you wont want to ever look at stock GM electronics again. Its just so simple and easy to use. I just fired up a new build on holley last night. I had to correct one rookie mistake that the owner did and it fired up first shot……just like all the other holley cars ive done. I have also done stock ecu stuff with good luck. My 49 gmc being one of them. The only issue with stock stuff is you need to “trick” everything to get it to do what you want and also need to own efi live or HPtuners and buy credits to tune it. Just remember…..stock ecu is a emission computer. Thats its job. The holley stuff is a performance computer. It does what its told.
