I have an interior sun visor rod off a 55 2nd series truck for my 56 and am looking for the visor piece to put with it. My question is this, my rod is a circular rod, and nothing more. What keeps the visor from just flopping down when not in use? Am i missing something that should go on the rod to hold the visor? Other visor rods i've seen have a one inch or so long rectangular metal piece that runs along the length of the rod, which would hold the visor in place, when fit over the top of it. I have a 50 and 60 chevy on the farm and am also wondering if those sun visor brackets and all would work in a 2nd series truck as well ? Thanks for the help.
