My 51 suburban front and rear bumpers were identical and same as 1/2 ton pickup bumpers. Since they were in rough condition I replaced them with a set of 1 ton panel bumpers, which as mentioned above are considerably thicker but otherwise same size and curvature as the 1/2 ton bumpers.
