I replaced the 235 with a 292 and the transmission with an S-10 t5. It is connected to late 50s bellhousing and has a later model clutch fork. The newer fork extends out and will likely interfere with the brake lever when the clutch is engaged. I was wondering if the original 235 clutch fork would fit on the s10 throw out bearing? The original fork looks like it would clear the brake because of the bend in it. Unfortunately I don’t have the original fork to try it but am curious to know if the old forks fit the newer throwout bearing before trying to buy one.
First picture is the new setup and the second is from an original model.

Thanks,
Eric
