now did I say brake fluid evaporated :confused: it most likely does, as most things that are liquid and go thru heating cycles do 'vaporize', tho I was thinkin more of expansion and moisture-laden air displacement prolly - the reason rust happens so easily in these old open systems, and fluid should be changed ocassionaly - ever notice the master cyl and surrounding area is always rusty? - I do think it's most likely to be the hydrovac in this case [providing everything was bled completely], where it sounds like the truck hasn't been used much, and ya'll must be aware of the tech-tip here about those
