Probably if you showed them a picture of the M1008 they might be able to answer. Not sure about the specifics but from what I understand, it may be easier in the long run to modify your existing chassis with the upgrades than to swap the cab and front clip onto a modern (ish) chassis -- lots of fab work to do that and have everything fit and work correctly.
You *would* get a much beefier drivetrain, suspension and chassis with the CUCV, though ...
