Decided it was time for a new floor mat as it appears I needed one. The old mat appears to have been a reproduction from many years ago. the old jute insulation appears to be the original. Everything was in amazing shape considering nearly 70 years. Removed the transmission cover plate to drain and replace transmission fluid. There again, amazed at how nice a shape everything was in. And again it appears the first tine the cover was off due to the factory gasket was still intact. Easier refilling with fluid from the top. The floor pans from the factory where painted the same as the cab. The transmission cover pan appeared to have been painted the same as the battery cover plate. Tomorrow the new mat installed.
