latroca 52 Low RPM on the stovebolts make it hard for the alternator to prime use as small a pully as is practical. I build my own 1-wire alt's some rotor and stator combos prime at a lower RPM than others, Hopefully you can get a set that will prime then charge at idle. I have one that is double belted for idleing a lot works good ! Kinda tight on fan clearance.
