you need a LOT of air volume to make a sandblaster work. I'm thinking 3/4" air line and at least a 60 gal tank. good luck
I have a small blast gun that says it needs 11 CFM, which is pretty much flat out for my 5 HP 60 gal compressor. It runs OK on a 3/8" air line, although a larger line would help. It's a slow process. I'd hate to try blasting a frame with it. I might be done next fall.

For a frame, the way to go would be a pot blaster or maybe rig up a water blast. I've seen some YouTube videos about how to make one with a pressure washer.
