I've tried, they are a smaller diameter so the adjusters wouldn't fit. However the springs and such may be. It wouldn't be a huge investment to order it up and try. I got wheel cylinders from Jim Carter on the condition that I could return them if they didn't fit. They didn't and I returned them no sweat. Last I looked he had 1-ton wheel cylinders in his catalog.
As for the fluid leakage it has to be going somewhere. If you have a hydrovac it could be getting sucked into the engine otherwise it's going on the ground or into a brake drum somewhere. Hydrovacs were an RPO on 1-tons. The fluid also could be displacing air that didn't get purged from the system when you bled the brakes. 1951 3800 1-ton"Earning its keep from the get-go"In the DITY Gallery1962 261 (w/cam, Fenton headers, 2 carbs, MSD ign.), SM420 & Brown-Lipe 6231A 3spd aux. trans, stock axles & brakes.
