I think it's time to at least swap out my driver door step/rocker panel which is about 90% gone (I'm tired of its razor-sharp edge sticking my leg every single time I open the door, lol). I have the following questions:
1. Is there a step by step anywhere (no pun intended), with pics, showing the replacement?
2. I'm seeing that my current passenger side step has what looks like an L-bracket type support on the bottom. Is that original?
3. Do the repro steps have the same support, or, require any mods?
I've looked at it (albeit, briefly) in the manual, and it looks like there are quite a few welds to be drilled out. Any estimate on how many? I don't just want to start randomly drilling away any remaining metal.
