Have a line on two trucks in local auto rag. One is a 50 GMC 2-ton, hasn't run in two years, ran when parked. No bed. $800
I've been thinking of a GMC to play with, but would rather have 1-ton or smaller really.
Second truck is 53ish 2-ton, runs good, and has a two cyl lift on flatbed. $850. Seems like a better buy overall, but I want that GMC engine.
I have a 69 tilt-cab I could trade, which is worth more than either of these trucks. I don't have the money, but have this truck. It needs some work to drive also, but does drive if careful with it.
So, what you think? GMC or Chevy? Wife says NONE! I'm trying to hold back, but sold all my trucks cept one now, bought a Fird pick=up for my driver for now, Help me!
