Garwood beds are popular in Midwest area. I bought many trucks with that brand on it. Not in business for many years now, so no stock parts. On one I had, it had regular looking flared hydraulic hoses, but were an odd size not used anymore or by anyone else? The fittings were on square plates, then bolted to pumps and cyls. I got new type fittings, and made new plates with pipe threads (used couplers on plates) so I could use the adapter fittings around now. Worked quite well. Most old systems have the Big cylinders, that are the "tank" also, not seperate tank. The pumps were usually bolted right on end of cylinder. I have unbolted those and moved to lower and more forward positions on frame. Old units had long drive shafts from pto, another modern NO NO! Modern wants 4ft or less shaft. I have used up to 9ft shaft with universal joint in middle and all slip joints and hangers as needed. Find a good body installer with parts counter for good info and needs. My local fella is great on old rigs, they have been around long time!
