It's under the bed and I routed the fill tube to the driver's side. I bought a sending unit from Chev's of the 40's. It's a 30 ohm unit. I bought a 30 ohm gauge from Autometer and it hangs under the dash just left of the steering column.
If I remember correctly the tank is 36 inches wide.
