I'm looking at a '50 GMC. Anyone know how to tell the difference between a 228, 248 and 270. I've been trying to read through threads on this and other websites and in some cases it says that all 3 were available in 1950 in others, OldGMTrucks, it shows only the 228 and 270 available that year. The 248 doesn't show up until '53. I'm trying to find out the casting numbers. Hopefully that will help.
