| | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 1,001 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 1,001 | Thanks for the leads! Looks like I will be able to make one of these work. The non-hooked end is riveted into the bucket and I was reluctant to drill out the rivet without knowing what direction to go in.
I had to remove the rivets from the headlight bucket to the housing yesterday to straighten out both parts. They got "rearranged" somewhere along the line in the last 80 years. They're now ready to go back together, but I'll change out the two springs before assembling. Might as well do the passenger side too.....while I'm at it. You know how that goes....
