Find a running 350 with a 700r4. Carburetor, No computer. Do a compression test on motor, and check for oil leaks, then buy one. Sell the other. A carb guy, like me and you, don't need the headache. Lots of folks will say the wiring and EFI is no big deal. It is a big deal. Modifying a harness, speedo conversions, ecu......nope.
Don't dwell on the speedometer. Forget about that. You don't make decisions because of a speedometer.
