I just bought a 1954 4400 1 1/2 ton grain truck with a dump body (don't ask me why!). Right now it is at my parents farm, but I hope to get it to my place soon and start working on it. It's in pretty good shape, doors aren't rusted through and still has most of its paint, no dents, and it was running a couple of years ago. The serial number is P54A 003999. How do I find out how many were made that year and how can I tell what size engine is in it?
Once I get the beast parked at my house I'll be asking a lot of questions of you guys.
