| | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 | If you find a truck that had an Eaton 2-speed electric shift, don't forget to get the speedometer reduction adaptor. It's a little round unit that screws inline with the cable on the back of the speedometer. It will have one electric terminal that gets 12v when you shift to High Gear this will keep your speedometer/odometer calibrated regardless of range. All Eaton 2-speed rears have the same reduction multiplier (1.36), so any truck with one will work. The High ratio will be stamped on the front of your rear. Multiply that number to find the low ratio (ie. 6.14 high has a 8.35 low).
