The "nickels and dimes" of that project will turn into "hundreds and thousands" as you go. I just did a pre-purchase inspection of a 68 Dodge Charger that's going to a buyer in Australia. This one's a "numbers-matching" example of a 440 engine 4 speed car, and the purchase price of $90K is almost, but not quite a "break-even" situation for the seller. Remember, now, he started with a complete car, and simply restored it to showroom-new condition. I can't imagine what it would cost to build a stovebolt "One Piece At A Time"!
