Hy Noonan, a quick check of one of my parts books that covers up to the 55"B" series yielded your casting number as a part number for a new part for the 16 series and the 18 series (L.C.F.). I have one of these trucks, still partially assembled, kind of difficult to access at the moment. I will see how much of a hassle it will be to work on if the weather cooperates.

Casting 3704482 was used from 1954-59 on the 1-1/2 ton and 1954-55 on 2-ton, BUT the flange for the wheel center hole could be 4-3/4" or 5-1/4".
The part number for the 4-3/4" flanged hub is 3704489.
The part number for the 5-1/4" flanged hub is 3704482.

Mike, thank you for the information. I forgot to confirm the wheel center hole when I was in the shop today, I will have to check that. It will most likely correspond with what your parts books are showing for the casting number.
