Are there bolted-on/removable frame cross-members at the rear of the block and at the rear of the Hydra-Matic transmission?

Correct on the heavier bolt in crossmember designed to remove transmission from under truck by unbolting it. Brake line are routed differently for the same reason.
The emblem will say 3100 only. As you mentioned, GMC chose to indicate hydramatic on their emblems but Chevy did not.
Solenoid pushbutton starter instead of foot starter.
