| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,441 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,441 | Your ‘62 GMC very likely came with a 305 V6 and over the years someone swapped a Chevy 235 I-6 in its place. GMC would not have had a 235 from the factory. 235 was a Chevy engine. The serial # gurus will be along shortly to prove me wrong.
