Here is a picture of how I did mine with a modified stock column:

* I then lowered where the column comes through the firewall about 2 inches and used two steering joints to connect from the column to the MII steering rack.
* I made two 3/4 inch spacers to lower the column from the dash to get a comfortable steering angle for the wheel.
