Found this site over 10 years ago and became interested in the big trucks. A few months later I found a 1955 advance design 6400 2 ton. My son and I hooked up the trailer and drove 4 hours one way and picked it up. Brought it home and after about 30 minutes of tinkering we had it running. It originally belonged to a volunteer fire department and only has around 6000 miles on it. However it has been sitting for a long time and needs a lot of work. I have had the truck for around 10 years and am just now getting around to working on it. There sure is a lot of helpful information on this site.
