I have very fond memories of a '68 shortbox stepside that I owned back in the late '70s. Mine was an old retired Metropolitan Utilities District (Omaha) work truck. Their entire fleet was green, which is why I called mine the "Green Machine".

A good friend of mine had one just like yours except his was red.
