From what I heard the rear bumper became optional equipment fairly early when it was realized most folks removed the rear bumpers on the big trucks to reach loading docks or install a dumping hoist for the box
About a 50s or later dealer 1 ton would not have come with a rear bumper by default
So that makes them super rare, perhaps the most difficult original part to source on the while vehicle
Even the vehicle dimension drawing omit the bumper
There is literally no documentation that I could find about a rear bumper
So if anyone has any information or actual parts taking good photos square on with dimensions would be very valuable to me and future generations
