well im would like to put a toyota steering box in my 53 chev3100 and keep the straight axle, with a 77 firebird tilt colum. i came to the quik reality of how do i hook the box to the colum just a u joint? or do i need a slip joint also? and also do i have to make a shorter drag link?i know i have to make a pitman arm out of the chev and yota.any one out there have any advice like change steering boxes. any input will be very helpful :confused:
