If I may comment, as I did read your post and chose not to respond earlier, and these are my reasons, it may help you in the future.
1, It sounds like you have a plan, you bought the donor truck and are going to do the swap, I have not done this swap, so I can't help with the details.
2, You started the post with information not relevant to the topic at hand, it confuses me. I like to see a question posed, then some back ground info to give some context to the question, and then at the end the question restated to remind and clarify as to what answers or opinions you are requesting.
3, All your text is bunched together with out spaces between thoughts, it's harder to follow.
The question asked in the other thread is from someone who has not started on the project and is looking for any advise, and it does not sound like he knows exactly what he wants. This type of question leads to many opinions and thoughts as it is open and broad.
Your question is very focused and narrow, so only a few people will have info, and therefore why you have no responses yet.
