I'm sure I've built hundreds of engines with knurled pistons, back in the days when mechanics actually fixed things instead of just swapping parts! There are even spring steel "expanders" still available to cut down on piston slap on the old cast iron 216 pistons. I've got a couple of sets of them stashed away somewhere. Jerry
