That Crescent AT112 is still being sold (Home Depot, etc.), but probably not near the tool it was back when your dad bought his.
I like the framed over the workbench idea, but you might try contacting Crescent Tool Co. (800) 621-8814 and ask them about parts. I'll bet they'd send you a replacement wrench, but that's not what you want. I did find a replacement parts page on their
Website.
I have a few of my dad's tools, and cherish them.
