I like to use a mechanical fan with a properly designed shroud since I figure a 17-19" fan being turned by a 400hp engine has to pull air better than one being turned by a 1/4hp electric motor. If one must go electric then the Cooling Solutions ( $375 ) one gets the job done better than others. Kind of like Steele Rubber---pricey as heck but does the job right the first time.
