I did the temp sending unit in a pot of water trick and it looks like the middle mark is about 195, and the first dot is about 140. I put in the 180 thermostat and once it opened, the needle stayed in that range sitting just below the middle dot. And I could not keep my hands on the heater hoses. It was a warm day though too, about 80. We’ll see how things work next time it gets cold.
