Hey all, So I'm still looking for that stock 3spd OD tranny to convert my current 4 on the floor saginaw in my 1960 C10 I have done some research (a whole winters worth) and decided that this...for me would be the easiest way to get some more top end. the only real mods I can see are shorting the drive shaft and converting the shifting. Which brings me to my question. I've noticed on alot of period OD trannys from the 50's and 60's have the OD solenoid sticking outreally close to the shifters. Would a modern 3spd floor shift kit have room to clear the solenoid? It looks pretty close to me. Has anyone here done this before and if have ran into this problem? I'm still trying to finalize the details before I purchase a 3spd OD
