I just remembered I bought a can to try and it is on the shelf . It is called protect dip .It is most likely the same as plastic dip says it is a rubber coating removable all I can say is it looked pretty good and lasted a Northern Ontario winter .Being rubberized may help with stone chips .I think originally Plastic dip came in a can to dip or brush on but you can get it in a spray can there is lots of info about it on google .
