I'll have to create some sort of strong mounting pad, that is for sure. My thoughts are to mount one on a cabover where I would need the arm in a different location and swing radius. The columns in those are so vertical that a traditional type mount would just swing back and forth (like a windshield wiper) rather than to and fro action. I haven't even thought about mounting yet...That happens once i know it can be rotated. I agree that it should, but I wasn't that familiar with the internal workings of the box.Thanks.
