Does anyone know where I could purchase new Choke and Throttle cables and have them cut to a specific length for my 1947 Chevy 3100 pickup. I purchased new ones many years ago but they were so long I had to wrap them around the carburetor before hooking them up. I could cut the ones I have but not sure if I can remove the wire from the center in order to cut the metal sheath around it and then reinstall the wire and cut it to the needed length. Thanks for any suggestions. I know somebody on this site will explain to me an easy way to do this...or a supplier who cuts to length.
