Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | Most likely the lower section of the tube is still in the block and will have to come out the TOP before a new tube can be driven in. To keep from pulling the pan to drive out from the bottom I made up a bolt with a slide hammer hook to pull one out from above. The inside of the tube has to be threaded with a tap so the puller bolt can screw in. Many times the tube will start turning in the block and upward pressure while turning will work it out.
